SEPTEMBER 2010

Main Content Inline

Dear friends and colleagues,

At a recent Khuthaza Board Meeting, Tshepiso and Adrienne told us about LeadSA. LeadSA is a campaign launched by Primedia to encourage South Africans to lead by example and actively contribute to the change we want to see in our country.  As Gandhi said, "Be the change you want to see in the world."

We would like to invite you to look into the LeadSA initiative and participate in your own way.

"The 2010 [FIFA] World Cup was a wake-up call as to what we could achieve if we had one vision as a nation," said Volkwyn. "We need to sustain this legacy beyond the one month. We can choose to carry on in our task of reporting on issues as they occur around us, or we can take a stand and do what we can to make a difference."

(Primedia Broadcasting CEO Terry Volkwyn covered on bizcommunity.com)

Now is the time for you to stand up....becuase if you (we) don't, who will?  (From the LeadSA Call to Action)

Read more on the LeadSA website or google for additional articles.

____________

As women in the construction industry we are pioneers and leaders. Let's take this further and also encourage others to stand up and contribute a little more to the future we all desire for the country. Small things make a difference!

May the September sun radiate positive energy, Liz
